An intimate portrayal of a person or group of people, ultimately as a way to articulate an emotion, a moment, an experience, but not solely closed off to the common idea that a portrait is exclusively of a person’s face.  It is far more than that.  Even hands, haircuts, fingers, amongst other details, can all showcase the familiarity and intimacy achieved with a person at the moment of the photograph.
